Description |
String Quartet No. 2 by Ehsan Saboohi
Composer's Note Quartet No. 2 is in memory of the famous poet, essayist, and literary researcher Mohammad Mokhtäri, who was tragically killed in 1998.
Mokhtäri's profound words in his long poem "Five in the Morning" served as a significant source of inspiration for the creation of Quartet No. 2. Allow me to share with you a brief excerpt from this poem.
"A foot at the entrance of door suddenly opened darkness A foot on a slimy stone in the river A foot on the unsteady step of a train That has started moving. As I take a step The earth in lost and I remain suspended And my shoes Palpitate In search of a fluid mass." Translated by Dr. Ahmad Mohit
